About the USC Marshall School of Business Online MBA

Before becoming a highly successful entrepreneur with 30 businesses under his belt, Bill Asher attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science in 1984. Bill Asher then attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, where he earned a Master of Business Administration in 1988.

The Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California (USC) features an MBA program that ranks among the top in the country. Asher’s primary focus while attending the program was Finance. In addition to an expertise in Finance, Asher also was able to take advantage of specialized classes concentrating on the entertainment industry. Based in Los Angeles, the Marshal School was able to use it access to entertainment veterans for its program.

Most important to Asher’s MBA education was a program established by the Marshal School to foster entrepreneurial ambitions. It was during this program that Asher formed his first company and learned what skills and personality traits were needed to own and operate one’s own business.
