Known for its lush landscapes, balmy atmosphere, superior shopping and dining, and wealthy residents, the Santa Barbara-Montecito area is sometimes called the American Riviera. Located about 80 miles away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, Santa Barbara provides an idyllic respite for those tired of the LA life.

Long stretches of smooth sand will satisfy any beach lover, and the nearby Santa Ynez Mountains provide hiking trails and sweeping views of the coast. Much of the architecture is in a Spanish-Mediterranean style, featuring white stucco walls and red-tiled roofs as well as asymmetrical design, giving each building its own unique charm.
